2010 2.0 TDCI 4X4 ECU issues

   My neughbour has purchased a quashqui 2010 2.0 tdci 4x4.  The vehicle was ok when first purchased three weeks ago but now ECU warning light has come on and lack of power.

The car was diagnostic checked a week ago coming back as issues with ERG throttle unit issue.   EFR renewed faults cleared. Drove off light comes back on straight away.

Had it tested again today and it has come back as ECU isn't even correct for the vehicle EGR AND THROTTLE not even in the ECU. Wrong ecu number.

Question.

New ECU cost including matching it to the vehicle info required or can the exsisting ECU be totaly re configured or programed to match the vehicle?
