Goodbye Buckinghamshire - hello (and heaven help you) Dorset.

Home and office move to the beautiful Dorset coast completed now - both 5 minutes walk from the beach Tongue.

Seen loads of QQs down here and in particular a higher percentage of FI than usual, all glinting in the sunshine and making me feel right at home TongueTongue.

I shall be carding with a vengeance so come on and show yourselves here won't you and if you see G5 BOY around feel free to wave/nod/thumbs up etc. (no prizes I'm afraid).

Gotta say that the QQ has made numerous fully loaded trips - the final one was 'seats down and side to side floor to ceiling very heavy boxes' (I know beacause I nearly busted something important carrying them Dead) - and behaved superbly.  Acceleration, braking and handling were hardly affected at all and if anything it felt better and firmer on the road when fully loaded.

Very impressed Clap.  So much so that it will get the 'top dollar' valet as a reward (God knows it needs one now).  I may even invite RHP down to do the job, all expenses paid Wink.

Lots of luck in your new home and office location.   Thumbs Up

You should change your 'Location' to Dorset Coast now and make us all jealous every time you post a reply! Cry

Lovely part of the World to live and work. Big smile

PS:  Except maybe in the Summer when all the tourists arrive to cause you traffic headaches! LOL

well to answer your question. Thatcher should have been pushed off the edge years ago and my X wasn't pushed but merely sacked after years of bullying. she still got a nice ass though

Poor Dorset - God help you all.........................

Only kidding --- Good Luck G - hope you and Mrs G5, are very happy in your new home.

Watch out for seagull poo on your FI - very very caustic...., rust and FI are much the same colour though, might not show up.

Thanks all of you.

klaatu - Torquay is nice - best cream tea ever in Cockington (no sniggering now Embarrassed).  It's another 100 miles west from us (Bournemouth - just outside of).  Don't know Thatchers Point but will look for it next time we are down that way.

Isn't it amazing how a post about my move evolves into what a nice ass klaatu's ex has Tongue.

G5 BOY, yes i know bournemouth very well, my ex ex girlfriend's dad has flat down there so we use to stay. Ah many many nice times were had there. watch out for the sea air on the QQ's underneath, you know how these JAP/FRENCH/BRITISH cars are prone to rust. LOL

Salt air and Qashqai's don't mix very well:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71o3uhHBjj8

PPS:  I'll be checking mine in a few months and having a look at this if necessary:

Shocked - still it's only surface rust Confused.  I had the rear wiper spindle on mine go rusty very quickly - I thought they would just repaint, but they replaced the whole motor assembly!

The common link with my spindle and this film is the matt black painted parts I think (apart from the exhaust main pipe and they all go like that don't they?

So I guess the matt black paint or its lack of primer are the cause - shabby of you Nissan.

EDITS..........

This thread has now gone from my moving experience through some girl's nice ass onto my rusty spindle (Embarrassed might reword all that later).

Let's get back on subject................

Just taken the 5 minute walk from my office down to the beach to buy a paper.  The sun's shining at full power and the waves are crashing onto the golden sands.  Suddenly I'm not worried about whether the sea air will give my QQ a rusty undercarriage Big smile.
