Just had my QQ serviced and there two recalls
1 A wheel bracket
2 Software update which I am told the oil consumption will improve and I may see better MPG
I was not sure if that would be true but it is by some 5 mpg

Anyone else experience this?

I've just had mine done as well - plus those two recalls. The one is a replacement/additional clip on the brake hose to stop it bearing against the wheelarch liner - I think - and they didn't say what teh software update was for - however I had complained aboutt he fuel consumption - 33mpg. Too early to tell yet - just topped up.

Right I can now confirm that I am getting about 40mpg over 36 miles on a roads and B roads.
Mixture of 30 40 and 60 speeds

I get about 25 to 30 miles extra a week and noticed I am filling up slightly later than normal.

Now I wonder why this was not done from the start?
Could have saved me a few úúú!
On a sad note .... my QQ will be given back in October as I have just placed an order for .....

A Mercedes C Class for the same price I paid for y QQ in 2914!
It will be my second one but I still think the QQ has set the bar in Crossovers and it looks to get better

Bye bye all

improved mpg can also be explained by higher tyre pressure, my 2L TD QQ+2 drops from 44 to 41mpg if the tyre pressure falls from 33 to 30psi!

My car was in for a fault diagnosis last week (turns out it needs a new timing chain), but since I picked it up on Thursday I noticed I kept beating my previous MPG record (the screen you get when you turn off the engine).

My previous best ever was about 45, and I started getting 47-48.

Yesterday I went on the motorway to drive over to my mothers, a drive I've done 100s of times and got that previous best of 45.   I got 53.9  !!

No idea what they did when it was in, they said they tweaked a few things trying to diagnose it.  I've read some timing chain rattles can be fixed with a remap so maybe they did one.

The best I've ever had on my QQ+2 2L diesel (2011) is about 48, on a very good run from Nottingham to Cambridge when traffic was light so no stopping and starting, not long after the car was serviced so lovely fresh oil, tyre pressures optimal etc.
