Hi All,
Just purchased Viofo A119S. Has anyone installed any A119 in a Tekna, if yes what side of the rear view mirror was it fixed to. I would prefer fixing it on the driver's side to facilitate  easier reach/ monitor view but if I place it too close to the mirror housing, video picture is partially obstructed by it. Further away camera would not be as discreet. Any ideas, possibly with pictures would be appreciated.

I've not fitted your model but I did fit a nextbase 312gw
I fitted it to the left hand side of the mirror in front of it
It's discreet and I don't see it except the lower led power button which tells me at a glance that it's recording

Used a hard wire kit which was tucked up in the roof lining and down the a pillar to the drivers fuse box and piggybacked off the switched stereo circuit

Proud to be back in a Qashqai

Interested in the comments about the positioning of the NextBase Dash Cam.
My 2016 J11 QQ has a mesh and rain sensor on top edge of windscreen and a headlights sensor fitted to interior mirror.
How easy it is avoid these items without having the Dash Cam bracket too low on windscreen, thereby blocking your view?
Comments appreciated.

I use this mount, it keeps the camera out of the way and closer to the windscreen. Easy to fit.

Thanks for that useful tip.
So at which position on windscreen do you fit the low profile mount as most of the central area
is covered in mesh or has sensors in the way?
Which model of NextBase dash cam have you fitted?
Are you pleased with it or are there some shortcomings?
Your comments would be appreciated.

I have the nextbase 312GW which is fitted using the low profile mount behind the left side of the rear view mirror so that the camera is not vusible to the driver. I power it from a hard wire kit located in the OBDII port area with the wire running up the door puller and behind the roof lining and then the wire comes out through the bottom of the mirror cover to the camera. Not had any issues. The pad will stick anywhere so the dotted glass isn't any problem
