Hi,

My car at the weekend went a bit funny and heard/felt like a pop while driving. Didn't really feel a loss in performance or anything like that but the engine warning lights come on. Checking the engine there what looks to be oil on the engine block as well. The car still powers on and doesn't feel like its losing power or anything

I've had someone come out to run Diagnostics on the cart and he has said its the DPF thats blocked and given me the diagnostic report but I've had a look and cannot see DPF being the issue (although I am no professional)

The following error codes are present -

ECM -
1. P1525 CONSIST MPX SIG CC/SL
2. P0380 Preheating unit DIAG CONN
3. P0202 Cylinder 2 INj control circuit
4. P0101 AIR FLOW SENSOR INFORMATION

ABS -
1. C1130 ENGINE SIGNAL 1
2. C1132 ENGINE SIGNAL 3

Does this sound like a DPF or is it worth a second opinion?

Thanks!

Which engine? 1.5 litres, 1.6 litres, 2.0 litres?
How many miles on the clock? Average daily driving distance?

Hi,

Thanks for replying

1.5 dci, 53k miles, we regularly (5 or 6 times a month) do longish rush (between 45-60 mins on motorways etc). Average a day is probably 4 miles

With this driving pattern I'd say a blocked DPF is very unlikely...

J10 models not as good as managing the dpf as the J11 Model.

But with that driving pattern "regularly (5 or 6 times a month) do longish rush (between 45-60 mins on motorways)" there's no danger of the DPF clogging. I did shorter runs every day and on average once a month a longer run on the motorway, and the DPF is still good after some 80,000 miles ....
