I had the same worry a few years ago, get yourself on to ebay and look for a product called "Diesel Gaurd". It's about the size of a fag packet and you stick it to the inside of the fuel flap, when you open the flap it has a light sensor and plays a recorded message to remind you to only use Diesel, the only downside i found was it was a bit loud so a small bit of tape over the speaker stopped the rest of the petrol station wondering what was going on. All for around £7, three years and two cars later its still working.

Hello muffin i checked the web and all the sites say 29.95. Thats e-bay and amazon. Mind you i would think its cheaper than filling your tank with the wrong fuelErmm

To be honest...how could you fill it up wrong?!

Our n-tec diesel is the first non petrol car me and the wife have owned, you just pick the right pump and fill away. If you mean you're worried because you're so used to putting unleaded in that you might fill your Qashqai with diesel...well....is it really that difficult to remind yourself not to use petrol?Wink
n-tec 1.5DCi Nightshade...the wait is over! What a car, love every aspect of it.

Hi Muffinhead,
Just like you I have been a petrolhead for 36 years and had fears changing to diesel for the first time with my ntec.
I have to say that all fears subsided after the first time i filled my QQ up, there's a diesel sign where the fillercap fit's on the back of the tank cover,
This sticks out like a sore thumb!!! so hopefully no worries
