These are a few things that could do with a bit more attention on the Acenta Qashqai

1. I wish for a better music quality, music from the Nissan Connect radio unit is kinda flat especially the bass (even after i have fidddled with the settings). i know that this is an option in the Tekna but come on Nissan, the quality in the Acenta is below average compare to all the cars i have owned. At least have the sound system perform average and then make the Tekna much above average.

2. The metal plate around start Key hole fitting  looks a bit raw, i mean the metal could at least have been polished, it looks like it just came out of a blacksmiths shed.

3. The horn i riduculous for the car, it sounds like a whimpy small car. Even the horn on my small VW UP is more serious. A mean looking crossover like the qashqai deserves a befitting horn sound so it does not look like a muscle athlete talking with a suprano voice as if he has lost his b*lls.

Hi Kenobi

I agree with 1 and 3, hadn't noticed 2 though.
I installed a sub in my QQ 360 the second week i had it. made a good difference to the sound (more rounded). Unfortunately the bloody amp has packed up now

Nice one Tiff, if only the rules were a bit more liberal in Europe

I will have to defer to when I get my Tekna but if the sound really is lacking, I'll probably go for one of those under seat sub options -- even the cheapie about £80 on Amazon looks pretty good as far as reviews go -- can't be too difficult to hook up.
Then the horn -- oh man, I hate a car with a poncy horn -- my wife's Peugeot 107 is like a lamb calling for it's mother.... I'll have to look into options there but will wait until I have the car, drive it somewhere no-one will hear me trying it out, and give it a go
Gun metal Tekna 1.5 DCi - crossover pack, plus chrome bling, bonnet protector, wind deflectors, twin-horn upgrade, AcesDVD auto-closing Mirror Kit, and retro fit mirror override :-)
