Oh dear I slid on ice and tapped a kerb with the front driver side wheel... not much force but damage was bent lower suspension arm and wheel bearing making strange noises. Both were replaced and I am up and running again but with a scarred wheel. I will have to find someone to fix it but understand the mirror finish needs specialised equipment.... I think there is a firm in Durham... Belmont so might pay them a visit. The beast from the east has a lot to answer for

And there was me all smug on Thursday because I was surrounded by rear wheel drive Jags, Mercs and BMWs sliding about. A particularly nice Merc repeatedly bounced his rear wheels of the kerb going up a slight incline.
