Hi all, I'm looking to purchase an older (2007) Qashqai and admit to being quite clueless about cars.

I can see that it had some advisories on the previous MOT (a couple of months ago), which I'm guessing may well deteriorate by the time of the next MOT and may cause it to fail. Given it's an older car you expect to have to pay a bit more for wear and tear repairs, but are these things likely to be troublesome/costly to repair?

Ľ Nearside Front Lower Anti-roll bar linkage ball joint has slight play
Ľ Nearside Front Lower Suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement rear most bush worn
Ľ Offside Rear Lower Suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement rear most bush worn

Hi

The shock absorber bushes were prone to fail on the early models.  They were made in Turkey (or made OF Turkey some said) LOL.  We early owners got them replaced under warranty (mine twice..!!) so that may be part of your issue.

If it were me, I would budget to get all that replaced - better safe than sorry.

Is it a private sale or a dealer?  Either way it might be worth getting a mechanic to give it the once over and an estimate of ú.  Could be a good bargaining ploy.

Happy shopping and let us know.

I have had those advisories for 3 out of the last 4 years, they haven't got any worse (or better). not had them fixed yet.
