Hi,

I drive Nissan QQ 1.6 NTec 2011 and looking to buy following parts;

  • Nearside Front Inner Suspension arm rubber bush
  • Offside Front Inner Suspension arm rubber bush

Can someone please advise if following parts are same? because there is a big price difference b/w them.

(This one was quoted for ú62 by local garage so both sides will be ú124)
- https://www.gsfcarparts.com/422ni0140

- https://www.onlineautomotive.co.uk/Nissan_Qashqai_Wishbones.aspx

(Both sides on ebay are a lot cheaper)

The first link shows a generic photo and shows the part as compatible for "03/2007 to present", despite the J11 having a completely different wishbone.

The second link shows the correct photo for a J10 wishbone and compatibility is correct, assuming you have a 1.6 petrol and not a diesel. There's also a link for a pair, saving a few quid. They seem to have their act together more than the vendors in the first link, and both offer a 12 month warranty.

But I'd check with the MOT place that they actually mean the wishbone bush, and not the upper link (tie rod). They're the ones that most often go in a suspension setup.

This is what MOT advisory says; (Car passed MOT in May 2017 and since than car has done 3.5k miles so don't know how soon i need to replace them)

  • Nearside Front Inner Suspension arm rubber bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement (2.4.G.2)
  • Offside Front Inner Suspension arm rubber bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement (2.4.G.2)

I know what they said, and that was my point. Since Nissan doesn't refer to any component in that diagram as a "front inner suspension arm", you need to know exactly what part the MOT tester means.
