Hi All, Great to be here, shame its with a problem and hopefully someone can help.

I have a 2012 QQ and had the PS light come on, After taking to my local garage i brought a 2nd hand pump and ECU. Hoping it was the pump part number "48810 BR00C" the mechanic switched this over and the issue remained. Having switched the ECU over also the powersteering was back so its clear this was the fault.

Now i'm faced with the ECU not recognizing the keys and will only start occasionally but the immobilizer light remains on when it does start.

No one seems to be able to do anything with this and i cant get it to my local Nissan branch for a few weeks due to availability, expect this will cost 0000s too! Anyone know if i have another option to get this re-programmed and my car back on the road

Cheers guys!!

You can't just swap a 2nd hand ecu in to a different car as the modules will all be coded

Yes, we knew that would be an issue, trying to find a garage with software to 're programme it, nissan can but can't get I to them for weeks due to how busy they are.

Very specialist computers required you will struggle with your average mechanic
