3 months off the end of warranty and the drivers seat heater has packed up! I noticed this has happened to a few others? Ho hum... cold bum!

Can I join your club? 7 Months after Warranty my Drivers seat has packed in too. Checked Fuse all ok, checked all wire under seat all ok. Has anybody got this resolved and what was the cost?

If it's a J11 it will be the heater element in either the bum or back pad, if one goes it causes the other to play up, I've had about 5-6 heat pads on ours! Known fault according to Nissan tech guy I spoke to. So I would say you need to find out part numbers and prices! Sorry!

is the heater pad the long element type cartridge with wiring conneter on 8 inches long by 3 wide bu 15 mm ?

No it is nothing like that, it's like a thin metal net on a fabric base, about the side of the seat base. It's only a couple of millimetres thick.

Car in garage for warranty replacement bottom heater today. They say back element was OK so just the one bit to replace. Looks like a bit of a job though, leather seats, pading, wiring and all that. Amazed at how many reports there are of these faulting. Don't hold out much hope beyond warranty!

One pad was a £230 fix by the way.
