Just picked J11 Qashqai up again from diagnostic check when nothing found despite repeated dash warning of system fault and engine fault warning illuminated.
Nissan unable to say why it intermittently appears or disappears on restarting.
Any ideas?

STOP/START fault is often due to battery state. If you charge overnight, may well disappear.
Engine fault icon lighting is more of a concern, and surprising
dealer could find no fault codes; did you pay for this?

I used to get the S/S system fault warning, which disappeared when restarted and my dealer found no fault.  it seemed to be when first driving off in the morning.  I now let the CVT creep away for 5 seconds (end of my drive) instead of gunning it Embarrassed and it seems fine.

Weird though.

I have recently had S/S fault warning and it was due to battery - once replaced fine. However, when I first got the car in 2015 I had S/S warnings intermittently and the dealership had to get a Nissan specialist in to find the problem and it turned out to be somewhere in the wiring.
