Reversing camera image

On my QQ 65 plate, when I select reverse gear, the camera image appears on the screen as if it was the middle of the night with no lights around! This only happens around once in a hundred times, but enough to be annoying.
Mentioned it to the local dealer who said a software update would sort that out as the aerial was interferring with the image, booked it in for an update and the after service video stated that the software was already 
the latest version, and if it happens again it may result in a complete new console.
Anyone had the same problem?
