Hi
I had to have a new tyre valve on my Qashqai as the on old one broke in half. My local garage did the call out to my wife and fitted a new valve but have told me i need to take it to my local main dealer to get the valve linked to the on board computer. Does anyone know of another way for me to get this sorted.

You need to add details of your model/ year etc so members can better respond.
If your QQ has TPMS valves which you can interrogate from dashboard, they automatically recalibrate after a few miles. However, if they just fitted a normal (non TPMS)you'll need to get changed. These Valves cost around £50.

I was interested to see your post as we have just replaced our 19 inch wheels with 17 inch ones (for the comfort more than anything and it has definitely made a differnce.  Our local garage has fitted new tyre pressure monitors but they are not reading on the dashboard.  We are going to have to visit Nissan dealer and were wondering how much they charge for linking them. Ours is a 2014 Tekna

You can buy them on ebay, e.g.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TPMS-Sensor-1-OE-Replacement-Tyre-Pressure-Valve-for-Nissan-Qashqai-2013-2019/152358694614?epid=652272592&hash=item2379492ed6:g:w1YAAOSwnHZYVCc6

And it says...

If you require the relearn procedure for your particular model then please send us an email and we can forward the details on to you.

Just as an update on this topic, our local Nissan dealer reprogrammed the car to the new sensors and charged £21.60 which I thought was very reasonable.
