Picked up my new Qashqai today. Have spent 2 hours trying to post a picture without success. Picture is Jpeg and under 500kb.
Have been trying on both PC and iPad.
If anyone can give me a clue it would be appreciated.

Images aren't easy.

Hit the right hand icon "Full Reply Editor"

Hit the tree icon "Insert Image"

Hit "Browse..." in bottom left

Select image and Open

Hit "Upload" in bottom left

Hit OK in bottom right

Images on the internet can be linked in in the usual way using

[  img   ]   URL   [   /img   ]    (without the spaces)

Thanks for the reply. On the iPad the Upload Image icon does not respond. On the PC the Upload Image icon works and lets you start the upload but never completes. Strange.

Try a different browser - I was using Firefox above.

I use photo bucket for uploading images

Looked at that option but Photbucket appears to be only available on a subscription basis. Not prepared to do that just to post a picture.
