Hey everyone

Had mats before from simplycarmats.co.uk for my Vectra and was very happy with the quality, but am in the market for getting new ones now for the Qashqai as it didn't come with any.

What is everyone currently using? OEM Car mats, Tailored mats, other choices?

Thanks

Cillian

Official Nissan ones all round, extremely good quality and of course perfect fit. You can pick them up at reasonable cost now.

Are they the kind of grey flick ones you have with the heel pad?

Bright red ones (velours) - via ebay - astonishingly clean after 3 years and about 50,000 miles ...

Am I the only one that prefers rubber mats that I can hose down after driving in Wellington boots.
Really like the ones in old Volvos and in sons Isuzu truck cab---- they have a upstanding around edges so no muck comes off the rubber onto the posh carpets, like the format of the rubber mat in the QQ boot.

Wellingtons I wear about once every ten years while driving... So no need for rubber mats... Wink - but when wearing Wellingtons daily, rubber mats come in handy...

First thing I did when I bought my QQ in March last year was bought a full set including boot liner off fleabay, like these,

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fully-Tailored-Rubber-Car-Mats-Bootmat-for-a-Nissan-Qashqai-mk1-2007-to-2013-/201623133140?hash=item2ef1acdbd4:g:wQcAAOxyaURTfD0H

They do smell a bit but that does wear off eventually. every time I wash the car I take em out and pressure wash em, good as new.
