up what do I need to make sure is there?
 
So far ive got:
12 month tax disc (as they're meant to be getting this for me)
All manuals - How many are there?
Service book - As they're servicing it this week for me
Both keys
 
Have I missed anything off?
 
Ps.
I hope ive posted this in the right place LOL

Dont forget your alloy wheel key ------ CHECK INSIDE BOOT TOO..

Friend of mine picked up their car and despite the PDI - no spare wheel or tool kit was there.

WASNT A NISSAN - DONT PANIC.....

Sorry for being thick but what do I need to check in the boot for?
 
On the subject of spare wheels....does it come with one? The one im getting is a 09 plate made in May if that helps

It should have a spare wheel, I'd be very surprised if it didn't?
 
There should also be a jack and a wheel brace in there too.

Yeah, take it from me the n-tec will have a space saver spare wheel.

Regarding the manuals, there should be two of 'em - one for the 'Connect' system and one for the car.

i see your from york. went there a few month back to watch oxford and york. nd went to the bootham tavern. welllllllll never again me and my two mates got jumped by 7 york fans.(to be fair we come out on top were all kick boxers OuchTongue) lovely city tho reminds me of chester

Bootham tavern? I don't know that one, but then I'm an "incomer", the wife is from York, I just ended up here by accident!

Its a bummer if its not there so check - just in case...

Has anybody else spotted the overhang on the new facelift bonnet.  I looked at two models on dealership forecourt at the weekend and both had pronounced overhang lips along the leading edge of the bonnet.  I could not see how scope existed to ease the bonnet back towards the screen as the gap left along the baulkhead edge was fairly minamal.  If I was picking up my new model I would check this detail.  Looks to me like a manufacturing defect.

I have seen 2 at our local dealers, one on a qq & one on the qq+2, both the facelift model, sales rep agreed that it looked odd, I have posted elsewhere that whilst i am no design expert, I would have thought the protrusion and subsequent effect on aerodynamics would be fairly substantial not to mention the cosmetic value.  If I was none the wiser you would be forgiven for assuming you had hit something from the front and knocked the front, bumper / grill out of position.

Looks ugly and I will complain and demand a fix if mine comes like that - will there be a recall?
 
Will have minimal effect on the aerodynamics imo.

I think I will reject it if mine is like this (or settle for a bung maybe Evil Smile).  Someone posted that their delivery was delayed while they fixed it.  Who was that and did they?

I have contacted Nissan Beadles in Maidstone about this. All the ones in the showroom are the same.

Must be a design detailThumbs Down  Mind you I have looked at 4 now and did not notice (or look for mind you) the overhang.  So if they all have it it can't be very noticable in the flesh.

Sorry to harp on about the point, but I would have thought the very last panel that you would want an ill fitting would be on the leading edge of the bonnet, apart from, aesthetics, possible wind resistance, the biggy will be the susceptibility of chipping in such an exposed location. Fail to see how they are getting passed the PDI

OK-  I'm back for a quickie on wifey's laptop Embarrassed.

Westover Bournemouth have 3.....................
  1. Mineral Grey ntec - very nice - minimal overhang
  2. Mineral Grey tekna - very nice - minimal overhang
  3. White ntec with 18" tekna wheels (imposter Angry) - no overhang

That proves they are not all 'like that' and there could be some adjustment.  To be honest I could probably live with the two grey ones and benih - to my eyes they are less pronounced than yours.  Salesman said there had been no complaints so far and he would keep an eye on it and he thinks there is adjustment. 

A quick look at mine doesn't show slotted holes under the two bolts but they could be slight and hidden under the washers maybe.
 
So to summarise Geek benih - either get your spanner out and have a go yourself mate Shocked or tell your nearest dealer to.  Either way i think yours can be improved if you want it - good news.
